Yes, the July 4th festivities in Plymouth, Mass. are among the largest in the country, and for good reason. There are an estimated 100,000 people who fill the streets of America’s Hometown to participate in the road race, parade, and fireworks display. The road race kicks the day off right before the parade and is the only road race in the world that can boast a finish line at the birthplace of America, on America's birthday. The 3rd Annual Pilgrims Baseball 5K will take place at Forges Field on Friday, July 10th at 5:30 pm. Join us for Health & Wellness night hosted by Plymouth Pilgrims Baseball. The evening will begin with the 5K run/walk taking place on the paths completely within the Forges Field complex. The starting line will be home plate. Guided by Lori Danek, Plimoth Plantation’s Horticulturist, you will execute a strategic plan for a cold-weather garden that is best suited to your needs and tastes. At the end of the workshops, plant seedlings to be started at Plimoth’s greenhouse, and pick them up when they are ready to be transplanted into your garden!

Known throughout the world as the embodiment of New Orleans’ musical legacy, Dr. John is a true icon in American culture.
