Dave Attell

In 2004, he was named one of the 25 Funniest People in America by  Entertainment Weekly. His caustic wit, rapid-fire delivery and choice of  material, which can best be described as "very adult," have earned him  his reputation as a comic's comic. But if you ask Attell, he'd say, "I'm  just trying to get some laughs and sell some drinks."

Born in  Queens and raised on Long Island, Dave Attell got into stand-up comedy  in the late eighties after graduating from New York University with a  degree in Film and Television. Attell used this prestigious degree to  land amazing jobs in the food service industry -- as a waiter. At night,  he would hit the open mic circuit in Manhattan. After many years,  Attell worked his way up through the club scene and onto the road,  touring across America as a national headliner and developing a huge  following with fans and the industry alike.

Attell used his  love of booze and laughter to create and host the hit series "Insomniac  with Dave Attell" for Comedy Central. A travelogue show in which Attell  goes from city to city looking for late-night fun, the New York Times  called the show "a doubly rare beast, a comedy without rancor and a  travel show about the virtues of the American underdog." To Attell,  "Insomniac" is more of a cross between "Girls Gone Wild" and "Cops."

Attell  has made numerous appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman,"  "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The  Howard Stern Show," "Last Call with Carson Daly" and "The Daily Show  with Jon Stewart." He also appeared in Chris Rock's cult film "Pootie  Tang." His other television credits include roles in FOX's "Arrested  Development," NBC's "Ed," HBO, Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd with Colin  Quinn" and was even a writer for Saturday Night Live!

1964 The Tribute

“The Beatles salute that sells out Carnegie Hall year after year! They  look – act – and sound like The Beatles. “The performance,  professionalism and musicianship make the illusion complete. 1964 THE  TRIBUTE creates magic!” – DICK CLARK

1964...THE  TRIBUTE, dubbed “Best Beatles Tribute on earth” by Rolling Stone  Magazine, has perfected the illusion of The Fab Four in concert. Like  actors, these master musicians cast a spell as they step into the  characters of the originals before your very eyes. Critics and fans  internationally have hailed 1964…THE TRIBUTE as the most authentic  Beatles tribute in the world. For over 28 years, this group of  performers has successfully recreated every sensation of being at a  Beatles concert circa 1964 through 1966 - from wardrobe to hairstyles,  Liverpool accents and singing nuances, and vintage instruments.

Since the early 80's, “1964”…The Tribute has been thrilling audiences  all over the globe with what Rolling Stone Magazine has called the “Best  Beatles Tribute on Earth ”.

1964...THE  TRIBUTE is: Mark Benson as John Lennon, Graham Alexander as Paul  McCartney, Tom Work as George Harrison, and Bobby Potter as Ringo Starr.

Last time they were here they had a SOLD OUT crowd singing along to all your Beatles favorites! These talented performers will  once again dazzle a whole new generation of fans while staying true to  the memories many have held dear for nearly 50 years.

Ryan's Ride

Ryan's Ride

It’s time to announce the Ryan’s Ride 6th Annual Ride-Walk. It is hard to believe that it has been six years since we started out on this wonderful adventure of helping people. Thank you to all who have helped raise money so that we can continue to help others.  We are proud to once again be at the Plymouth waterfront June 20, 2015 for the 6th annual event, which includes a bike ride, walk, craft fair, car show, music and food.

Riders and walkers online registration is available at www.ryansride.net. The bike course is 12 mile scenic route to Myles Standish State Forest and back to the waterfront. The walking loop is an enjoyable 5k (3.1 mile) from the waterfront through downtown and back to the waterfront. Entry fee is $20. Prizes are awarded to the highest sponsorship collectors.

Crafter and food vendor forms are also available at www.ryansride.net Crafters fee is $50 for 10x10 + $15 craft donation. Food vendor fee is $75 and one day permit (link available at www.ryansride.net).

Showcasing the event will be a selection of handpicked vehicles.

An update of Ryan's Ride's progress in the past year;

February 2014, we went to the State House and testified on behalf of Ryan's Ride bill to make it a law, that in the event you get a knock on the door telling you your loved one has been involved in a life-threatening accident, if a ride is needed, the police officer will secure a ride to take you to your loved one. At this time, we do not know the fate of the bill yet, but we are hopeful that we can get this passed.  You can find out more about our bill at https://malegislature.gov/Bills/188/House/H2136.

October, we teamed up with the Red Cross to help give back to the community; it was a successful Blood Drive.

November, we held our annual spaghetti dinner. There was a lot of good food, music, and over 100 raffles.

Amazon helps charities with their Smiles Program and Ryan's Ride is now part of the Smiles program.  If you follow the link you can find out how you can help Ryan's Ride https://smile.amazon.com/ch/27-0521125.

Please ask your friends, family, and coworkers to join us to walk or ride for Ryan's ride on June 20th, 2015. What you do today could help a family tomorrow.
