Spring Celebration and Fundraiser
Please join us for our Spring Celebration! Come meet local vendors, the eSS&SC team, and eSS&SC readers! Pick up a copy of our Spring 2015 issue, decorate an Empty Bowl, and welcome spring after such a long wait. We are celebrating edible South Shore & South Coast’s 27th issue and its 20% expanded page count!
As a part of the Empty Bowls fundraiser, you will be able to personalize a bowl(s)by stamping, carving, and decorating it—$20 for one or $30 for two bowls. All proceeds will be donated to the Greater Plymouth Food Warehouse, whichdistributes food to many local pantries. Local Pottery is donating time and materials for the hand-made bowls and will be availble to help you design for professional results. Local Pottery will glaze and fire the bowls which can be picked up between June 1 and June 15*. Any unclaimed bowls will be re-sold with the additional proceeds being added to the donation.
Guests can RSVP, however walk-ins are welcome. The event rain date is Sunday, May 17, 2015. Check eSS&SC or Local Pottery Facebook pages for rain date updates.
Local Pottery and edible South Shore & South Coast thank Jane Cragin Walsh from Coastal Art Glass for donating vendor space for the event.
*Please note that occasionally pots crack and/or go home with the wrong person (it can be hard to distinguish who made which) so we'll have extras to ensure you have a bowl to pick up.
