Chamber Charity Days - SAFEHOME

Chamber Charity Days - SAFEHOME
Connect & network with fellow Chamber Members while supporting an organization that provides life-changing services to those living in our very own community! Join us for an afternoon supporting SAFEHOME with two invaluable volunteer activites...meal preparation and sorting donations received by the shelter.  Volunteers (15) must be at least 16 years of age to participate and will be taken on a first-come basis.  

You may also support SAFEHOME by bringing the following items to the Chamber office March 12 through noon on March 14th:  toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, allergy medication, flu and cold over the counter medicines.  Thank you!  

SAFEHOME provides a healing atmosphere where survivors of domestic violence can gain inner strength, build self-esteem, explore options, and establish a life free of violence. Through their shelter and community services, approximately 8,000 individuals each year receive the support they need to lead healthy, independent lives.  SAFEHOME’s mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence and partner abuse for victims and their children by providing shelter, advocacy, counseling, and prevention education in our community. Their vision is to create a community free of domestic violence and partner abuse.

  • Networking from 5:00PM-6:30PM in SKC’s Premium Tower
  • Two complimentary drinks & light hor d’oeuvres will be provided to attendees
  • 8:00PM Sporting Kansas City vs. Vancouver Whitecaps game in reserved seating

Companies that purchase 10+ tickets through the SKC Front Office at 913-951-3556, will have the ability to sign up for a 1 minute company introduction to the Chamber Night attendees. SKC has 8 spots available for the night. Companies that purchase 15+ tickets will have the ability to sign up for one of those 8 spots along with in-game video board recognition for their company.
