Vermeer Glass Art Grand Opening

Vermeer Glass Art - Studio & Gallery will have its grand opening, located at 302 Grand Ave, on November 19th from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Jim and Julie Vermeer have been creating kiln-formed glass for the past 17 years and have shown their work at many fine art shows in the upper Midwest. They have won several awards for their work and shown their work in several galleries. Now that Jim and Julie plan to retire to Spencer, they plan to teach classes, have DIY event/parties, and open studio for those that wish to create their own glass pieces. Classes and events will start in the first quarter of 2021. In addition to showcasing their own work, they plan to have fine artwork from other amazing artists they have met over the years. This will provide diversity within the gallery and additional choices for their customers and clients.
