Monetary donations will be collected at the door for the Bakersfield Homeless Center and Kern Autism Network.

Provides a basis for the Chamber to act on local, state and federal government issues, works to create a favorable business climate, reviews city, county, state and federal legislation for Board positions. Meets every other Friday at 7:30 a.m. and once a month for a mid-week lunch.

Coordinates an event that promotes the city and the people of Bakersfield. A banquet and awards presentation focused on the positive attributes of Bakersfield's businesses, organizations and citizens. Meets monthly for approximately nine months a year on the second Tuesday of each month.

Created through a partnership with the Chamber's Bakersfield Young Professionals and Kern Community Foundation, Philanthropy on Tap is a free monthly series that gives nonprofits a platform to share their services, needs and volunteer opportunities. Attendees will receive complimentary wine, beer and appetizers.

This signature event occurs every January, and serves as the annual installation of the Chamber's Board of Directors. Carla Musser, of Chevron, will be installed as the 2018 Chairwoman of the Board.

The event also honors the amazing volunteers who helped make the Chamber's high-caliber events and programs successful. The winners of the Ambassador of the Year, Advocacy Partner of the Year and Chamber Champion awards will be announced.
