David Stratton, director of purchasing for Rain for Rent, will explain the company’s procurement needs. Based locally, Rain for Rent has become a national leader for providing solutions for its customers’ water-handling, irrigation, and temporary liquid storage needs.

Cost is $25 for members; $50 for nonmembers. A catered breakfast of pancakes and other morning favorites will be provided.

Public relations for the Chamber, welcoming new businesses to the community at groundbreaking, ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremonies. Organizes and facilitates events where Chamber members network in a social atmosphere that also provides a forum for member businesses to showcase their locations, products and services. This is the largest business-to-business trade show in the area, and allows members to showcase their products and services while connecting with other companies.

Attendees will receive complimentary wine, beer and appetizers.

Coordinates an event that promotes the city and the people of Bakersfield. A banquet and awards presentation focused on the positive attributes of Bakersfield's businesses, organizations and citizens. Meets monthly for approximately nine months a year on the second Tuesday of each month.
