Coordinates an event that promotes the city and the people of Bakersfield. A banquet and awards presentation focused on the positive attributes of Bakersfield's businesses, organizations and citizens.

The Chamber is pleased to introduce a regular breakfast series aimed at bringing you insight into today's important issues and how they impact business.

Our guest speakers will be Bakersfield City Manager Alan Tandy and Kern County Administrative Officer John Nilon. Mr. Nilon and Mr. Tandy will speak to their respective budgets and how they relate to the business community. Join us for a frank, dollars-and-cents conversation with the chief executives of our area's largest governmental entities.

Develops and implements seminars that help businesses enhance operations through educational, informative sessions. Works to create a strong local economy, increase member participation and serve as a testimonial to prospective businesses. Meets the fourth Monday of each month at noon.

Public relations for the Chamber, welcoming new businesses to the community at groundbreaking, ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremonies. Organizes and facilitates events where Chamber members network in a social atmosphere that also provides a forum for member businesses to showcase their locations, products and services. Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Works toward enhancing public awareness of the importance of the energy industry to the community's economy. Provides a forum for identifying and discussing common issues and concerns affecting the industry and consumers, and provides counsel to the Chamber board on these issues. Meets third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 a.m.

Get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping by supporting local businesses and unwind with great food and drinks. There will be a passport to collect stamps from participating stores for a chance to win exciting raffle prizes.
