Join HAVEN for the 2024 HAVEN GALA on Friday, April 19 at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan. As Oakland County’s only nonprofit organization offering comprehensive and culturally sensitive aid to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, HAVEN is at the forefront of the fight against these pervasive issues. The annual gala is HAVEN’s most crucial event, as it raises awareness and funding needed to assist more than 25,000 survivors each year. Every dollar raised at the 2024 HAVEN GALA directly contributes to empowering survivors and their families with the support and resources needed to find safety, strength and a new beginning. Your sponsorship and attendance directly impact HAVEN’s ability to continue and expand our essential services, which include: Shelter for survivors and their children and pets One-on-one counseling Court advocacy and assistance with personal protection orders Forensic nurse program 24-hour crisis and support line Deaf and interpreter services Education on consent and the root causes of abuse An evening of inspiration and empowerment Doors open | 6 p.m. Strolling auction | 6-7 p.m. Program begins | 7 p.m. The 2024 HAVEN GALA takes place during Sexual Assault Awareness Month and includes a gourmet seated dinner, silent auction, live music by the Corrin Barnett Band, and stories of hope and resilience from survivors. It is an opportunity to celebrate the courage of survivors and stand with them in their journey toward healing and empowerment.
