American Red Cross Mid-Dakota Chapter
About
“The American Red Cross delivers disaster services across North Dakota to meet basic emergency needs such as shelter, food, clothing, and medical items for the people affected. Preventing, preparing for and helping build community resiliency are also vital components of the Red Cross mission.

The Red Cross provides health and safety training, and creates awareness about unpredictable weather conditions and the risk of home fires. The Pillowcase Project teaches youth about fire safety, building an emergency preparedness kit and practicing fire escape plans. Free smoke alarm installation events are happening in communities across North Dakota through the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign. Batteries are replaced and smoke alarms are checked or installed, free of charge.

These safety and preparedness programs can truly save lives. For 100 years, the Red Cross and its community partners have worked to prevent and alleviate human suffering in North Dakota.”
