Tom Krent is a Career Pathways Coordinator at Education Planning Resources where he assists students with career and education planning. As the former Career Pathways Coordinator for Bloomfield Hills Schools, Tom developed student/business connections for students in these curriculums; Agriculture, Biomedical, Business, Engineering, Finance, and Media Arts. Tom received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. He has worked as an engineer at Ford Motor Company, owned a graphic design and marketing company, and provided technical analysis of financial markets for various financial advisors. Tom’s community activities include serving as a scout leader in Boy Scouts of America for over three decades, has served on various boards and committees in his community, and is currently a City of Troy Planning Commissioner. Tom is a judge for Robofest, First Robotics Competition, Future City Competition, and Michigan Science & Engineering Fair.
