Bruce Sheridan Named Board President of Life Compass

Organization Coaches Young Adults To Plan And Live A More Fulfilling Life

ST. LOUIS, MO - August 17, 2020 - Life Compass Inc., announces Bruce Sheridan has been named Board President. Life Compass is a St. Louis-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to serve God by coaching young adults to plan and live a fulfilling God-centered life.

Sheridan is a local business consultant and a former executive with a Fortune 500 company. He will helm the nonprofit whose goal is to help young adults age 18-28 who are struggling with various problems such as abuse, addiction, loneliness, and financial and career issues, develop a more centered and responsible life.

There is no charge for individuals to participate. The organization is dependent on contributions from individuals, businesses, and more.

“Our goal is to step up our work with young adults in St. Louis and elsewhere. The Coronavirus and loss of jobs have caused individuals to feel lost, but most still have a desire to fit in and think positively about their future,” Sheridan said.

“The objective is not to serve as a therapist or social worker but rather give them a coach to help them develop a sense of purpose, a relationship with God, and a lifelong journey of caring for themselves and love for others, all available at no charge.”

Sheridan said he can relate to his own personal experience in order to help others. “I was 25 and thought everything revolved around partying. My friends and I wanted to have a lot of fun, and we did, but eventually I became confused and didn’t know where to turn. I met someone who helped me accept God into my life. Since then everything became clearer and I never looked back. It gave me the impetus to accept responsibility, get a great job with a Fortune 500 company, get married and have four sons.”

Life Compass operates so young individuals can feel safe discussing their personal issues with a coach outside of their family circle who has been down the same path.

The coaches are volunteers, many executive level professionals, who have achieved success and built their own relationship with God. The organization also uses an app to help young adults maintain focus and achieve their personal goals. For additional information visit or call 636-212-4020.
