Humanity
Hospice L.L.C. was founded in April of 2014, by Keisha Jackson, who is the
Owner/CEO. Humanity Hospice was established in Oklahoma City and moved to
Edmond in 2017. We cover the OKC/Norman metro area and have expanded services
to include Ponca City, Enid, Woodward, Clinton and Shawnee. We are local
people caring for local people.
Humanity Hospice L.L.C. provides care, comfort and support for persons with
life-limiting conditions when medical care cannot offer a cure. This care is
for the patient as well as their family. The Humanity Hospice team works to
make the person comfortable and manage their symptoms and pain for the entire
length of their illness. Hospice care is a family-centered team approach that
includes a physician, nurse, social worker, counselor, chaplain, home health
aide and trained volunteer.
Our Bereavement team continues to stay in contact with families for 18 months
after their loved one has passed. We host Camp Comfort for children aged 5-18
years old. This camp focuses on bereaving children through art therapy, music
therapy, and animal assisted therapy. Breakout groups offer a venue for
children to express their grief.
We work with local hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home
health agencies and physician office to assist them to provide the next level
of care for their patients.
