The mission of the CSUB Roadrunner Scholarship Fund is to provide the maximum allowable financial support to talented and worthy student-athletes in a wide variety of sports. With contributions, a difference can be made in the lives of CSUB student-athletes, helping them succeed in the classroom, give back to the community and elevate CSUB's standings in competition.

Created through a partnership with the Chamber and Kern Community Foundation, Philanthropy on Tap is a free monthly series that gives nonprofits a platform to share their services, needs and volunteer opportunities. Attendees will receive a complimentary beer or wine and appetizers.

The State of California has updated their sexual harassment prevention training requirements for California employers. By January 1, 2020, employers with at least five employees (including temporary workers, independent contractors, employees outside of California) must provide two hours of sexual harassment prevention training to all supervisory employees and one hour of sexual harassment prevention training to non-supervisory employees. Trainings must be provided once every two years to all employees within six months of assuming either a supervisory or non-supervisory role.

Join local employment and labor law attorney Jefferson X. Eberhardt, of Young Wooldridge LLP, for an interactive session that meets California's specific training requirements as well as valuable tools to reduce your liability.

Your supervisors and employees will learn how to:
   *Ensure anti-bullying regulations are implemented
   *Prevent harassment and violence in the workplace
   *Report and repsond to employee concerns
   *Communicate with other employees about harassment policy

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the program following from 8-10 a.m.
