Plans for a Veterans Memory Park to be built at Ridgeland's new City Center Complex are moving forward as the committee seeks support from the community as well as corporate sponsors. The park was envisioned by the late General Tom Logue and will include benches and plaques commemorating the six branches of military service. It will also feature a central walkway, walk of heroes, a flagpole and a 7-foot bell tower. The Veterans Memory Park will be funded by private donations from the community.
