Lunch & Learn - REAL ID Is Here, Are You Ready?



Did you know that after October 1, 2020, you will be required to have a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or ID card in order to use your driver’s license or ID card to board commercial aircraft­ for domestic flights or to gain access to federal facilities?


To be considered REAL ID compliant, you must have the required documents on file with the Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA).

Bring a lunch and join us for this 90-minute session to learn:

- how REAL ID will affect all Marylanders

- how to become REAL ID compliant

- what are the "Core Four" documents you need to take to MVA

- how to check your REAL ID status

A question and answer session will follow.

General Membership Luncheon



The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host its December General Membership Luncehon featuring Ashley Duckman, Vice President of Government Affairs, Maryland Chamber of Commerce. 

As the VP, she leads advocacy efforts on behalf of the 4,500+ members of the Maryland Chamber before the Maryland General Assembly and on the federal level. Duckman develops, leads, and executes the legislative strategy of the organization and maintains positive working relationships with key elected officials and members of the Administration in order to build a better understanding of and appreciation for business issues.

Join us as she reviews the upcoming 2020 Maryland General Assembly Session and hear more about:

  • legislation that could harm Maryland businesses
  • updates on implications of Kirwan funding sources
  • what the Chamber and our members can do to mobilize and have our voices heard in Annapolis

This luncheon is open to all Chamber members and the general public.

2020 State of the Wicomico County Public Schools


The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will present the 2020 State of the Schools luncheon January 27, at 11:30 a.m. at Parkside High School.


The luncheon is an opportunity to hear an address by Superintendent of Wicomico County Public Schools, Donna Hanlin. Hanlin will discuss achievements and areas in need of improvement throughout the county, as well as plans for success in the upcoming future. 


This event is open to the public and will be catered by the Wicomico County CTE students.


Tickets to attend are $25 for SACC members and $35 for future members.


Table sponsorships are available for $300.

Installation Breakfast 2020



Join fellow Chamber members to witness and congratulate the Chamber Board of Directors and Voting Council at the Annual Installation Breakfast.


The breakfast will begin at 8:00AM on Wednesday January 29th at  the beautiful Wildflower Estate Farm in Mardela Springs Maryland, just ten minutes from Downtown Salisbury.


James “Bo” McAllister, Clerk of the Court for Wicomico County, will officiate the swearing in ceremony and offer remarks. Network and enjoy a delicious full course breakfast catered by Chamber member Vittles Catering.
