With DVB’s growth, the company has been focused on building strong company culture, next level marketing, and professional development for their workforce, which has led to the publication of a children’s book about grit and the trades.

Chris’ passion for business continued when he formed Trashforce, which offers roll off and residential trash services for the Lower Shore.

The 2022 Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, presented by Spicer Brothers Construction, will be held on September 30, 2022 at Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, MD.

This is the SACC premier networking event of the year, where business experts and community leaders from all over Delmarva gather for a golf tournament like no other.  

Participants say this tournament is unique, enjoyable, and a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and make new connections!        

The day’s festivities will begin with registration and breakfast starting at 8:00 AM, followed by a 50/50 Ball Drop on the driving range, sponsored by Choptank Electric.

The shotgun start is at 9:00 AM.        

Registration for foursomes or single-player includes:      

• greens fees, golf cart fees, breakfast, beverages, a goody bag, and range balls
• group photographs after the event  
• awards luncheon after the tournament

Mulligan packages are available for $30 and include three chances for the 50/50 Ball Drop Raffle.

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lower Shore American Job Center are proud to host their annual regional Job and Career Fair every fall at the Centre at Salisbury.

This year’s fair, presented by Quality Staffing Services, will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

The regional Job and Career Fair is FREE for attendees and open to the community.

• Over 65 employers participate in the Job & Career Fair, and approximately 2000 job seekers attend the event.

Burnish Beer Co. is celebrating its 1st anniversary in October 2022! 

Salisbury native owners Randy Mills, Taylor Wade, Alex Fisher, and Mathew Shockley converted 8,000 square-foot space, formally part of an old boat factory known as the Bayliner Building on the North side of Salisbury, into a brewery with an expansive indoor restaurant and tasting room and created Burnish Beer Co.

The indoor taproom accommodates 150 guests. The outdoor beer garden is over 5,000 sq feet and accommodates over 200 guests.

The outdoor beer garden offers an abundance of polished wood picnic tables, an outdoor bar, a firepit, and games such as cornhole. 

Burnish Beer also welcomes pets to the outdoor beer garden!

Providing more than just locally brewed craft beers, Burnish Beer Co. has a great food menu as well as wine and hand-crafted cocktails available to satisfy all taste buds.

On Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:30 AM, the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate business and organizational excellence at the Annual Awards Luncheon at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center . Wicomico Recreation Parks & Tourism will also present its Annual Tourism Awards.

The SACC Annual Awards event recognizes and honors the achievements and efforts of outstanding leaders of the Delmarva area. This is an opportunity to network and celebrate the amazing achievements of our member businesses, community partners, and individuals.
