    The Maryland Small Business Development Center, with the Greater Ocean City and Salisbury Area Chambers of Commerce will host a Relief Act, Schedule C and PPP Updates webinar featuring Sarah Dufresne, Assistant Director of Maryland’s Revenue Administration Division, representing the Comptroller of Maryland. 

     

    Ms. Dufresne will cover the RELIEF Act and other legislative changes impacting small businesses. She will focus on important guidelines which will be affecting the 2020 filing season and the 2021 calendar year including The RELIEF Act of 2021 Sales & Use Tax Credit.

     

    Additionally, Eastern Regional Director, John Hickman will discuss the latest 2021 CARE’s Act packages, including details on Schedule C PPP Borrower eligibility, and other current resource opportunities for small businesses.     2021 Southern Delmarva Economic Forecast

    The 33rd Annual Southern Delmarva Economic Forecast has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 28, 2021, beginning at 7:30 AM, at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland. The Eastern Shore Delegation Luncheon will follow at 12:30 PM.

    Bring a bag lunch and come learn about our newest member benefit program, the MEAP, otherwise known as the Multi Employer Aggregation Program. 

    The MEAP is only available to members of our Chamber.

    What is a MEAP? It is a retirement plan with a variety of options and will be attractive to our members who have an existing plan and those considering establishing a plan. Join us as we discuss to how our MEAP can help you with:

    • Reduction in fees and expenses
    • Reduction in exposure to fiduciary liability
    • Reduction in administrative details

    The MEAP is available to Chamber members as a result of recent legislative and regulatory changes.  

    Due to COVID restrictions, space is limited to 10 attendees. Please regsiter in advance, as we cannot accommodate walk-ins.
