Good Beer Festival

The Good Beer Festival in Salisbury, Maryland, offers festivalgoers unlimited tastings of American craft brews. Friday offers the only nighttime beer festival on the Eastern Shore. In addition to great beer, the festival offers music, games, peddlers of crafty and cool items, and Eastern Shore food. There will also be domestics, seltzers and ciders.

Hours are Friday, Oct. 14, from 5-10 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 15, from noon-5 p.m.

Ribbon Cutting - Evolution Craft Brewing Co.

The story of Evolution Craft Brewing Co., & Public House started in October 2008 when two brothers decided to merge their passion for creating craft beers and savoring great food.


Through the years, EVO has modified its location and menu to accommodate the always-present demand for a great food and craft brew destination. 


Evo is excited to announce its latest expansion which includes a new outdoor bar - Beer Bar Garden, entertainment stage, restroom facilities, and an Eastern Shore-themed mural.

This class teaches students of all skill levels foundational practices in figure drawing (drawing people). Practice foundational techniques in capturing proportion, anatomy, value or atmosphere while drawing from a live, minimally-clothed model. Constructive feedback provided by the instructor to help participants get the most out of each class.

 Ages 16+

Cost: $20-$25 per student

Materials: Participants bring preferred materials, or use Salisbury Art Space materials (drawing paper, pencils, vine charcoal). Drawing boards provided.

Ribbon Cutting - Burnish Beer Co.

Burnish Beer Co. is celebrating its 1st anniversary in October 2022! 


Salisbury native owners Randy Mills, Taylor Wade, Alex Fisher, and Mathew Shockley converted 8,000 square-foot space, formally part of an old boat factory known as the Bayliner Building on the North side of Salisbury, into a brewery with an expansive indoor restaurant and tasting room and created Burnish Beer Co.


The indoor taproom accommodates 150 guests. The outdoor beer garden is over 5,000 sq feet and accommodates over 200 guests.


The outdoor beer garden offers an abundance of polished wood picnic tables, an outdoor bar, a firepit, and games such as cornhole. 


Burnish Beer also welcomes pets to the outdoor beer garden!

Providing more than just locally brewed craft beers, Burnish Beer Co. has a great food menu as well as wine and hand-crafted cocktails available to satisfy all taste buds.

The SACC Annual Awards event recognizes and honors the achievements and efforts of outstanding leaders of the Delmarva area. This is an opportunity to network and celebrate the amazing achievements of our member businesses, community partners, and individuals.

Diabetes Self-Management Workshop

 MAC, Your Area Agency on Aging, will host a free Living Well Diabetes Self-Management workshop on Thursdays, Oct. 27 to Dec. 8, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Participants will learn how to deal with stress and how to address high and low blood sugar. They will also get information on exercise, carb counting, healthy eating and menu planning.
