Lunch & Learn - COMPASS MD's Tax System Upgrade

Comptroller Franchot and the State of Maryland are investing $150 million dollars in a new, state of the art, integrated tax system.

Once fully implemented, COMPASS will change the way taxpayers interact with the Comptroller’s Office.

COMPASS, Maryland's new tax system upgrade, will be more secure, more efficient and more user-friendly than ever before.

Business owners who may pay several different types of taxes – sales tax and corporate income taxes for example, in addition to personal income tax – will be able to track all their accounts through the same system.

Bring a lunch and join us for this 90-minute session to learn:

  • how and when the new tax system upgrade will affect you and your business
  • about the new and improved fraud detection and prevention programs
  • how to manage accounts online
  • the maximized audit, collection, reporting and estimating functionality

A question and answer session will follow.
