SNHS 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc, is hosting our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Friday, October 18, 2019, at Green Hill Country Club.

Join us for our sole annual fundraiser while enjoying the sport and meeting other supporters of our organization.

Check-in at 11:00 AM and shotgun start at 12noon - scramble format.

Interested players and/or potential sponsors should contact Amanda Smith at asmith@salisburynhs.org to register or for more information.

Registration deadline is October 11.

4-Person Team: $400
Team and Tee Sign: $500
Individual: $100

Price includes green fees, cart fee, lunch, beverages and after-tournament hor d'oeuvres.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

Prizes will also be given for a putting contest, hole-in-one and closest to the pin.

Join local birders, Ward Museun staff, and SU students and faculty as they collect data on local migrating bird population and submit that data into the Cornell Lab of Ornithology‘s eBird citizen science program. eBird provides the opportunity to collect real data for real scientific purposes. The need for this data is particularly great on the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, where numerous birds live, yet limited eBird data is collected.

Quota Club Christmas Gift and Craft Show

The 33rd annual Christmas Gift and Craft Show, sponsored by Quota International of Salisbury, will return to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Friday, Oct. 25, from 4-8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is $4 per day, and children under 12 are admitted free.

The fair features over 100 unique crafters and local vendors with a variety of items for sale, including wooden toys and other items, ceramics, hats, scarves, candles, wreaths and flower arrangements, baskets and jewelry. Santa Claus will make a special appearance on Saturday and Sunday.

Proceeds from the event are used to serve the local community.
