The Spencer Community School Foundation is a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded by donations, bequests, and annual giving programs.
(no operating funds are received from the State of Iowa or the Spencer Community Schools budget.)

The goal of the foundation is to partner with businesses to meet educational and vocational needs, enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students and teachers, and expand horizons for the entire community.

The foundation office is staffed part-time September through May.

We are an active Kiwanis Club of Spencer.  We operate many
service projects and fundraising event in Spencer such which
include needy family Christmas clothes shopping, distribution
of bike helmets and dictionaries  to all 3rd graders, youth
scholarships, fish fry, school activities, Tiger mentoring,
backpack classroom collections, winter coats and operating
the K-Cafe at the Clay County Fair.
