Aldersgate Camp and Retreat Center is a Christian summer camp providing facilities to different groups (school,families, not-for-profit, community and more) for retreats, programs, field trips, outings, and full or partial site rental for groups to run their own summer camp programs. We also help with program planning, hosting workshops, and retreats. We also provide leadership for recreational activities such as challenge/ropes course, guided hikes, nature walks, waterfront activities such as swimming and boating, archery, large group games, worship services, and campfire story telling. Adirondack Mennonite Camping Association DBA Beaver Camp is a summer camp that provides a variety of programs including bible study, scrapbooking, and a challenge course.

Come Check Out Our Beautiful Campgrounds. 125 campsites, water and electric hookups available, 2 bath houses, open year round, seasonal sites available and ATV or Snowmobile right from your campsite.

Oswegatchie Educational Center operates as a youth camp during the summer months and is an educational and recreational retreat center during the rest of the year. The property contains 4 bodies of water, various streams, wetlands, open fields, forests, ponds, and a ropes course. These places are used for recreational and educational purposes. There are also woodlands that are used for hiking, cross-country skiing, and environmental education.

Cabins are fully furnished with bedding, towels, & TVs. Heated cabins sleep 3-4 people.

Whitaker Park, one of the region’s hidden jewels, offers its visitors one of Lewis County’s best views of the Black River Valley and the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Nestled on the eastern slope of the Tug Hill Plateau, wooded trails direct the park-goer to overlooks of pristine waterfalls characteristic of the area’s gorges and unique geology.
